How Not to Count Votes

The Daily News reports today on why things have not improved since NYC moved from mechanical to electronic voting machines. Despite the introduction of computerized scanners, it turns out that votes are still tallied pretty much by hand, unlike in other jurisdictions, where, as the News points out, they use the new computers as computers.


We had a busy weekend of grassroots activism this week, starting with our State of the Neighborhood Town Hall meeting on Thursday night and our NAG Forum on Saturday afternoon.
