#10 — Not only do they know how to dance, but they use all the right moves to raise awareness around the issues affecting McGuiness Boulevard and other unsafe streets in Greenpoint & Williamsburg. Who wouldn’t want to dance the night away with these wonderful neighborhood advocates?
NAG’s annual fundraiser is a celebration of epic proportions. This year the Gala will take place on Saturday, November 3rd from 8 p.m. to midnight. The venue is Biba, located below our offices at 110 Kent Avenue (North 8th Street, looking onto the East River State Park). It is an evening of food and beverages provided by local businesses, as well as music and dancing.
In addition to throwing a great party, NAG works hard at improving our great neighborhood. One area in which NAG staff and volunteers work hard for improvement is the unsafe conditions that exist on our streets for pedestrians and cyclists. Last year we continued to work on improving awareness around the dangers of McGuiness Boulevard. Read about it here: Mourners Pay Tribute to Those Lost on McGuiness Blvd. Support NAG’s continued work by coming out to celebrate another year of nagging…
We hope that you can join us for this special night. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available at Brown Paper Tickets. For more information, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
