District 33 Town Hall Recap

Last night, Councilmember Stephen Levin and Mayor Bill de Blasio held a town hall for Council District 33. NAG and North Brooklyn were out in force. Tonight: Community Forum on Public Safety and Self-Defense Workshop

Recently there has been an increase in certain types of crime in the 94th Precinct (which covers Greenpoint and Williamsburg north of Metropolitan Avenue). Tonight, the 94th Precinct, Councilmember Stephen Levin and Assemblymember Joseph Lentol host a forum on public safety.  The 94th Precinct will be on hand to answer questions about recent crime events in the neighborhood and to address how to prevent future crimes.  After the meeting, the Center for Anti-Violence Education will hold a self-defense/sexual assault prevention workshop.
