Our neighborhood is facing major challenges. The L Train is overcrowded, the G is unreliable, we lack sufficient open space, and affordable housing is increasingly scarce. We must also work to preserve the unique character of our community.

Last Williamsburg Walks (For Now)
As we wrap up our four-week experiment with Williamsburg Walks, we reflect on its success in building community and providing a calm, traffic-free environment. Although this is the last event for now, we hope to see Williamsburg Walks return in a format that benefits both local businesses and residents.
Public Forum
The next step will be a public forum to discuss the future of Williamsburg Walks. We are finalizing the location and dates, and will provide updates soon. Attendees will have the opportunity to share their feedback and suggestions for future events.
Saturday Volunteers
We’ve had incredible volunteer support so far, and we are grateful for everyone who has contributed. This Saturday, we need the most help during setup at 11 AM and tear down at 7 PM. Volunteers will assist with putting up barricades, setting up tables and chairs, and organizing the information tent.
For those arriving later, please check in at the info tent for volunteer duties, ranging from drawing hopscotch on the street to collecting email addresses for updates on the public forum.
